We compiled it from the Judiciary’s own court listings and the Ministry of Health hospital network. Every court and hospital named here is a real, verified place. Use it to orient yourself, then get advice for your exact situation.
How your claim is heard
Almost every road accident injury claim in the Klang Valley is filed in the Sessions Court. That court has unlimited jurisdiction for motor-vehicle accident claims.[1] The size of your injury does not push the case to a higher court.
A claim that is only about vehicle damage, and is small, can instead go to the Magistrates Court, which hears civil claims up to RM100,000.[2] Your lawyer files the case in the correct court, so this is background, not a decision you make.

A seasonal note
These same routes carry the heaviest traffic during festive balik-kampung periods and the northeast monsoon from November to March, when crashes rise. If you were hurt during one of these peaks, the process is the same, and acting early still protects your evidence.

Common questions
Does it matter which court my claim goes to?
For your effort, not much. A road accident injury claim in Kuala Lumpur or Selangor is almost always filed in the Sessions Court, which has no ringgit limit for motor claims. Your lawyer files it in the right place; you do not choose the court yourself.
Why does the hospital matter for a claim?
The specialist medical report that proves your injuries usually comes from the government hospital that treated you. That report drives how your injury is assessed, so keeping every record from that hospital matters.
My area is not on the list. What do I do?

Can I be treated at a private hospital and still claim?
